Bry-Sur-Marne, France: Watch history come back to life

If art’s your kind of thing, this is the cam for you. Involving the restoration of Louis Jacques Mande Daguerre’s diorama in the Church of Bry-Sur-Marne, France, this is one of the more intriguing cams I’ve ever come across.

In case you were wondering, it is the same guy that helped refine the process of what would become the Daguerrotype. You know, one of the very foundations that photography burst forth from. That fact alone gives this cam two thumbs up in the “must see” department.

Stockport, England: Teach your children where bacon comes from

It’s a UK double-decker today, with our next (tasty) cam coming from the fine folks at Reddish Vale Farm, a school farm in Stockport, Cheshire, England.

Frankly, I can’t look at this one for more than a minute without feeling like having a very late breakfast (or very early, depending on your viewpoint), so I’m just going to have to cut this one a bit short. By now, you probably get the gist.

London, England: Just another (rainy) day

London. Rain. Fog. Nothing entirely out of the ordinary here, but boy, is it difficult to find a good London Cam these days–especially one with such a decent view. Thanks to the fine folks at Elizabeth House at P&O Estates, you’ll be treated to what amounts to a nearly 360-degree view of London from their vantage point through their two cameras; one faces east, while the other faces predictably west.

Well worth both the views.

Grenoble, France: The city electric

This view of Grenoble in southeast France is great day or night. By day, the hustle and bustle of a large part of the city is visible, and by night it resembles something of an electric extravaganza due to city lights saturating the Axis 221’s IR lens.
